Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Wendy & Alan's. Though we only spent two nights, we felt right at home. Check in was super easy and the charming red barn was just as described. All the beds were comfortable and our kids loved the bunk beds. The couch was very comfortable to watch a movie and wind down from the amazing hikes we did in Lassen National Park. We enjoyed the hot tub a few times and marveled at the stars. We'd never seen the Milky Way and stars so bright and clear. We would absolutely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

What can I say! Wendy and Alan's place was just fantastic. It's conveniently located close to the Manzanita entrance for Lassen NP, and the house itself was clean and well-furnished. I haven't seen an Airbnb kitchen as well stocked with quality utensils and pots & pans. And the coffee bar! Drip coffee maker, French press, grinder, and an electric tea kettle were quite a treat! Wendy and Alan also went above and beyond by getting us lighter weight sheets when the weather turned warmer. When we return to Lassen NP, we will stay at the Lassen Red Barn again!

Our second time back. We are a family of five including a teenager and three Littles. Every single one of us enjoy our stay. It gets the kids outside and playing and off of screens. My husband and I enjoy the hot tub and sleeping so comfortably in the cozy beds. Watching movies by the fireplace is our favorite. Away from the city and connected with a family. The red barn is a great stay and Wendy and Alan are super responsive and make checking in and checking out a breeze. We want to come back once a year.

We loved the Red Barn so much that we didn't want to leave! It's the kind of place that you plan your day to make sure you arrive back early enough to spend time there. We loved the art, the records, the dining area, the sofa, everything. And the bed is the comfiest, largest bed we've ever slept in! Perfect for visiting Lassen. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Our family of five had a great time at the barn! Homey, cozy, and super-clean space and just a quick drive to Lassen, which was gorgeous. Our kids really got a kick out of listening to all the records, and we all enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the evening after climbing Lassen peak! Would totally stay here again.

The little red barn is a true gem. I needed a peaceful getaway, and that's exactly what I got. The cabin is incredibly charming, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything I needed to prepare snacks and meals, including a full stock of spices. The bed is so comfortable it was tough getting out of it in the morning. Good hosts meet your needs; excellent hosts anticipate them. Wendy and Alan are excellent hosts.

Great little cabin perfect for a family with lots to do under one roof. Fun little wooded backyard area complete with friendly neighbor dog and hot tub. Can't beat the short easy drive to Lassen. Very clean well stocked cabin in the middle of the woods. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

This place met way more than our expectations. We really did feel right at home, and it was so cozy and peaceful. The bedroom was super comfy, and the bed felt like a cloud. My favorite was the coffee area. Also the washer and dryer is available, and it was so nice to be able to wash our clothes after going and seeing the falls, and hiking. The arcade games were such a nice touch too.
